Every year around this time, the mist clears, and Fantasy Faire reemerges. We look forward to this event all year long. I feel fortunate to be part of the blogger team, which gives me access to the regions when they are less crowded. I always enjoy visiting The Lost Pages and eagerly anticipate returning each year.
This event is near and dear to my heart as it raises money for the American Cancer Society. Our family just lost another member to cancer in the last few days. The research they complete helps fund their mission to have a world without Cancer. My first loss to cancer was at ten. I remember not being able to understand why my Grandpa was sick and then gone. Over the years, more members have been lost to this nasty disease. Here's to a great Fantasy Faire fundraising season!
