Spring is gently beginning to unfold, and I can hardly contain my excitement. The cold winds are still lingering, but there’s a glimmer of warmth on the horizon. Life has been beautifully hectic with the kids and their endless activities. Our weekends have been consumed by Girl Scout cookie sales, a sweet reminder of their growing independence and the joy of teamwork. With just two more weeks of cookie madness ahead, I know that soon baseball will take the wheel of our weekends.
In this whirlwind season of our lives, we are constantly on the move, racing from one event to another. It’s a rare and cherished treat when we can slow down and enjoy a weekend at home. I savor those moments, using the time to connect with my family and immerse ourselves in the simple pleasure of cooking together. It’s these little gatherings, filled with laughter and shared meals, that make our hearts feel full. As the world starts to blossom around us, I look forward to the memories yet to be made, both on and off the field.
