I'm back, and what a whirlwind month it’s been! The kids and I managed to squeeze in three days lots of adventure last month, bouncing from one friend’s house to another, then rolling up our sleeves to help a family member move just down the road from us. Honestly, I think I need a vacation from our vacation!
Now, when I look at this scene, it feels like pure bliss—the kind of place where you just want to kick back and let the world fade away. I can’t help but wish I could stumble upon a fairy tale landscape like this in real life! Though we did get a taste of tranquility over the weekend in a charming cabin, free from cell phones and Wi-Fi—can you believe it? No power, just us and nature! It was a delightful 62 degrees, and the rain serenaded us in the evening. What a refreshing escape from the sweltering heat building in the valley!
Overall, it was a perfect mix of chaos and serenity, with plenty of memories made along the way. Here’s to more adventures—and maybe next time, a bit less chaos!
