As the days grow longer, I feel a since of excitement in the air. Winter is slowly saying goodbye and spring is ready to arrive. I stand in my window, looking outside. A light breeze blows through bringing a hint of warmth with it. Sunlight is peeking through the last of the winter clouds.
My furry friend Levi wagging his tail as he senses my happy mood. Looking at him I can imagine him running thew the yard chasing the birds and bugs once more.
As evening approaches I sit in my chair sipping my hot chocolate with my dog sitting next to me in the living room. Seeing the soft lights from the lamps near by and hearing the crackling of a warm fire, I smiled and felt a since of calm knowing soon spring would arrive once more.
