Mountain Herding

 

I really love how this scene worked out.  It reminds me of my Aitachi, who immigrated over to the United States from Spain.  Upon arrival he and helped as a cook supporting the sheepherding operation in Ely, NV.  He found love and moved to my hometown to help raise his family.  He continued to help with sheepherding from time to time in the Sutter Buttes, the smallest mountain range in world.  When I was younger I would accompany him to the spring family picknicks while my brothers would accompany him to dock tails and such.
